"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." I Thess. 5:16-18
I am privileged to be ministered to by the beautiful souls of East Africa. They live these words of the Apostle Paul. They have taught me much about simplicity and grace, happiness and peace, commitment and resourcefulness, and priorities and purpose. What incredible gifts they have shared. WOW!
Space and time do not permit the listing of the litany of blessings in my life at this very moment. They are overwhelming and undeserved but they are comprehended with a heart of authentic thanksgiving. The words of a favorite old hymn sum it all up: "I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me." I pray the same for each of you this Thanksgiving Day.
